Columbus Marathon- Mary Bridget Maddan
On Sunday, October 16 Mary Bridget Maddan will run the Columbus Marathon. She has done this race quite a few times, but the last time she did it was 3 years ago and she had one person on her mind: her brother-in-law David “Pooh” Maddan. This same weekend 3 years ago David was in the hospital fighting for his life due to complications to his treatment of cancer. Mary Bridget ran the race in 2008 praying for a miracle every step of the way. On October 25, 2008, God found a place for him; he most certainly has very special (and strong) wings as he has many to protect.
Mary Bridget has not run the Columbus Marathon since that weekend in 2008, so this year as she runs she will dedicate her run to David Andrew Maddan.
